Privacy

HappyLifts does not require an account and does not provide sign-in. We do not create a user profile for you.

The app stores your workout data and preferences on your iPhone, including:

• Exercises, routines, folders, and workout history
• Settings such as units, theme, haptics, and notification preference

Your workout history and preferences are stored locally on your device. HappyLifts does not upload your workout data to servers we operate. If you enable Apple Health integration, selected workout information is also saved to Apple Health as described below.

Workout records remain on your device. Limited diagnostic information is sent to Sentry to improve app reliability, as described in “Crash and error reporting” below.

You can delete it by deleting the app. Uninstalling HappyLifts removes the on-device data.

Apple Health integration is optional.

With your permission, HappyLifts uses Apple’s HealthKit framework to save newly completed workouts to Apple Health. This includes the workout type, start and end times, and duration. If you also allow Active Energy access, HappyLifts saves estimated calories burned, calculated from workout duration.

HappyLifts does not read existing data from Apple Health. Exercise names, sets, repetitions, weights and notes are not included in these exports. Workouts completed before access was granted are not automatically exported.

If an export temporarily fails, HappyLifts retains the information locally so it can retry. This pending copy is removed after a successful export or when the app detects that workout permission has been revoked.

You can change or revoke HappyLifts’ permissions in Apple Health or your iPhone’s Health settings. HappyLifts remains usable without these permissions. Data saved in Apple Health is managed through Apple’s services and may sync through iCloud according to your settings.

HappyLifts uses Sentry to investigate crashes, freezes, and unexpected errors and improve app reliability. Diagnostic reports may include:

• App and iOS versions
• Device model
• Technical error details
• Limited app state
• Up to 50 recent diagnostic actions

Reports exclude exercise names, weights, notes, HealthKit data, and personal identifiers. No screenshots or session recordings are collected.

If you buy HappyLifts Plus, payment is handled by Apple. We do not receive your Apple ID password or payment card details.

To unlock Plus and restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives:

• Purchase and subscription status (including Apple transaction/receipt information)
• An anonymous identifier generated by RevenueCat (not your name or email)
• Technical information needed to run purchases, such as device type, OS version, locale, and currency

This is used only to provide Plus, restore access, prevent fraud, and operate purchase records in RevenueCat. It is not used for advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. RevenueCat’s privacy policy can be found here.

Apple also processes purchase data under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

If you allow notifications, HappyLifts schedules them locally on your device (rest alerts and an unfinished-workout reminder). These are not push notifications and are not sent through our servers.

You can turn them off in HappyLifts Settings or iOS Settings.

HappyLifts uses RevenueCat to manage purchases and Sentry to investigate crashes, freezes, and unexpected errors, as described above. Apple provides the App Store, in-app purchases and the optional Apple Health integration. HappyLifts does not send workout or Health data to RevenueCat. We do not sell your data or share it with advertising networks.

Any third party that receives data through the app is required to provide the same or equal protection of that data as described in this policy and Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines.

On-device workout data is kept until you delete it or delete the app.

To ask us to delete purchase-related data that RevenueCat holds for HappyLifts, contact us. We will action that request. Apple may still keep its own App Store records.

Because there is no HappyLifts account, there is no account to delete.

Turning off Apple Health access stops future exports but does not erase records already saved there. Editing or deleting a workout in HappyLifts does not update or delete its Apple Health copy. Deleting HappyLifts does not automatically remove previously exported Health records. You can delete those records separately in the Health app.

Diagnostic reports sent to Sentry are retained for 30 days. Deleting HappyLifts does not automatically delete reports that have already been submitted.
